1. Who we are. layne-staley.com (the “Site”) is operated by NancyLayneCo, LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“NancyLayneCo,” “we,” “us”), PO Box 483, Mukilteo, WA 98275. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Washington residents should also read our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
2. Information we collect.

We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Payments are processed directly by our payment processors.
3. How we use information. We use personal information to: operate and secure the Site; process, ship and support orders; answer inquiries; review and publish submissions you authorize; send newsletters you request; measure Site traffic in aggregate; prevent fraud and abuse; keep business, tax and legal records; and comply with law.
4. How we share information. We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that act on our behalf: website hosting (SiteGround, WordPress), store software (WooCommerce), payment processing (PayPal and WooPayments, powered by Stripe), print-on-demand production and shipping (Printify), email (Microsoft 365), aggregate analytics (Google Analytics and Search Console), design tools, and AI and software service providers used for administration.
- Our professional advisors, such as attorneys and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of the estate, our users or others.
- A successor entity, if the Site’s operation transfers to another entity, which will be bound by this policy.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. AI-assisted processing. We use AI software tools, including our assistant Legacy Assistant, under human direction: to draft and organize administrative work, to help build newsletter pages from human narration, and to track orders, help answer order and support questions, and send order updates to our staff. We do not enter payment data, passwords or health-related information into AI tools, and we limit any customer information entered to what a specific task requires. AI tools make no decisions that affect you; people do. See our AI Assistance Disclosure.
6. Cookies and Do Not Track. We use essential cookies to run the Site, cart and checkout, and Google Analytics cookies to measure Site traffic in aggregate. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. See our Cookie and Analytics Notice. The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. We do not run analytics or advertising tags on recovery-related pages.
7. Retention.

8. Your choices and rights. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or email admin@layne-staley.com. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Some records must be kept for legal, tax or security reasons; if so, we will tell you. Residents of states or countries with additional privacy rights may exercise those rights the same way.
9. Children. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Submissions from minors must come from a parent or guardian. If we learn we have a child’s information without parental consent, we will delete it.
10. Security. We use access controls, limited administrator accounts, data minimization and human approval for sensitive actions. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. International visitors. The Site is operated from the United States, and information is processed there.
12. Changes. We will post any changes here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will also post a notice on the Site.
